I serve as a consultant, mentor and coach, applying my deep experience in schools, research and study of human development and leadership at the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Graduate School of Education to help school leaders and governing boards and individual school owners develop, become high functioning and flourish in their roles and in their relationship to each other.

I have had the privilege of being the head of three of the world's top schools: Atlanta International School (10 years), Lester B. Pearson United World College of the Pacific (8 years) and the International School of Geneva (6 years).

In addition, I served as the Chief Academic Officer for the International Baccalaureate Organization, led over twenty school accreditation visits, was a primary, middle and high school principal and taught science in schools in Europe, North and Latin America. Nearly every school or division head I hired and mentored over the past three decades is now a head of school. During this period, I have worked with twelve board chairs, served on six non-profit boards and helped develop the governance and leadership standards of two school accrediting agencies. I am currently serving as a member of the United World Colleges International Board and I chair its Education Committee.

I am a Canadian-American living in Cambridge, Massachusetts working with schools in every region of the world in person and virtually.
